Anna Firth, MP for Southend West, has announced her ambition get the new Music Man single to Christmas number one.
The Music Man Project is a disability-friendly music group based in Southend which has taken the world by storm with its inclusive approach and progressive attitude towards the arts.
Championed by the great late Sir David Amess MP and his successor Anna Firth MP, the Music Man Project has moved from strength to strength.
Working with the Royal Marines Band Service on the single called Music is Magic, the group is donating all proceeds to projects which support people with learning disabilities across the UK.
Anna has been supported by key political figures including previous Tory leadership candidate Penny Mourdant MP in her campaign, who joined the Southend West representative in calling for its success over the Christmas period.
Anna said,
