Anna is aiming to make Southend the City of Culture for 2029. City of Culture status gets awarded every four years, and the successful bidder hosts cultural festivities throughout a culture-led celebration for the year.
Anna wants to get to know what the people of Southend think would improve Southend’s cultural offering, and which places deserve regeneration and enhancement. On her website, Anna has launched a new survey to hear local people’s views on how Southend’s culture can be improved.
