A statement following the death of Her Majesty The Queen
I am deeply saddened to learn of the death of Her Majesty The Queen.
For over 70 years, The Queen has been at the head and heart of our Country and the Commonwealth, and all of us owe her a huge debt of gratitude for her service.
My thoughts and prayers, and those of everyone in Southend West, are with The King and the whole Royal Family as they come to terms with this loss.
