On Wednesday 24th January 2024, I was delighted to be able to welcome two of my constituents to the Houses of Parliament.
Victoria and Jared Goodwin from Southend, travelled to London and were shown to their seats in the viewing gallery to watch the weekly event of the Prime Minister answering questions from the House.
To watch PMQs as it happens is a real treat for visitors. It’s always a lively event with unpredictable moments happening right in front of you. Democracy in action!
Mr and Mrs Goodwin also enjoyed a full tour of the Houses of Parliament and said afterwards: "It was amazing to be invited to see Prime Minister’s Questions today and to meet our MP Anna – it surpassed our expectations".
