Anna Firth has lent her support to local organisation ‘NOW’s the Time for Change’ in their fight for better mental health provision.
“N.O.W’s The Time For Change,” set up by local residents Kelly Swain and Natasha Ralph, uses personalised coaching methods to improve people’s emotional, mental and physical health. Sir David Amess, the former Member of Parliament for Southend West, supported the organisation from its launch in 2018, and Anna Firth was delighted to lend her support. Anna met with the founder Kelly Swain to discuss mental health services in Southend, and they discussed how they can work to improve provision for local people.
Commenting Anna said:
“I am so pleased to be supporting N.O.W’s The Time for Change in the fantastic work that they are doing. The past couple of years have really shown us how important it is to look after mental health and wellbeing, and it is reassuring to know that there is support available to those who need it. Sir David was a staunch supporter, and I was delighted to meet Kelly and Natasha. I hope that as many people as possible can benefit from their services.”
