On Thursday 25th August, Anna Firth MP visited Chalkwell Bowls Club for their annual Fish and Chip supper.
Anna was delighted to have been invited to their annual event, and met many of her constituents at the club. She was able to listen to their concerns and answer questions they had for her.
The club also discussed with Anna their plans for development. They aim to expand by increasing the size of their green, to allow a greater number of members to play at once. Anna was very welcoming of this idea, and is more than happy to assist the club where she can.
Anna Firth MP said,
“I am very supportive of local clubs like Chalkwell Bowls Club, as it provides a great sense of community. It is where people can come together and have an enjoyable time with their friends. The members at the club feel they have a great sense of belonging, and are part of something they are so proud of.”
